Biography

Alexander Vladislavov was born in Moscow on September 2nd, 2001. Since childhood  the youngest family member has been fascinated by classical music, although his decision to practice came a bit later. At the age of 10 Alexander got enrolled in Children's Art School No. 1 named after G.V. Sviridov in Balashikha, Moscow region. There he made a firm resolution to become a professional composer. In the first two years of hard work he created a dozen pieces.
Although there was no composition department in his school, for 5 years alongside the hobby Alexander was practicing the violin, but at the moment he is intensively doing the piano. Anyway, the author isn’t concentrating just on one instrument – always looking for something new. 
In 2014 Alexander was the winner of the interzonal competition Созвездие (Eng. Constellation) with his first ballet Сказка о пчеле Мохнатке (Eng. The Tale of a Bumble-Bee), based on the 1879 Vasily Avenarius novel of the same name. For several years on end Alexander was a laureate of the Scriabin International Composition Competition, organised by Scriabin Moscow Regional Basic Music College, a prize-winner of the Schnittke International Composers’ Competition, organised by Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music, a frequent participant of the Svyatoslav Richter Summer School in Tarussa. In 2014 Alexander was put forward as the possible candidate for the grant by the administration head deputy of the Balashikha city district in the Forum Одарённые дети городского округа Балашиха-2014 (eng. Gifted children of the Balashikha city district-2014). 

His music language can be characterised by commitment to melodiousness, polyphonic thinking, as well as a vivid perception and originality of the form.
