Wilbert Jonathan Deil

Biography

Wilbert Deil is a fresh graduate Indonesian young composer from Universitas Pelita Harapan Conservatory of Music. His musicality has been developed since he was in elementary school, studying classical piano with Lidya and Titus at Yamaha Music School Indonesia. Meanwhile, he found his interest in composition during Junior High School, where he focusing himself on electone performance with Cynthia Mulyadi, Oddy Hindrawan, and Yasuaki Inomoto. In 2012, he represented Indonesia in Asia-Pasific Electone Festival (Jakarta, Indonesia) and Yamaha Electone Concourse (Tokyo, Japan) with his original works Journey to Independence which started his own journey as a composer. 

In 2015, Wilbert Deil studied music composition at Universitas Pelita Harapan Conservatory of Music under guidance of Renardi Effendi and Boby Limijaya. Beside that, he also studied clarinet with Nino Ario Wijaya. 

Since 2019 until now, Wilbert Deil actively working as a music producer, composer and enterpreneur. He also colaborating with several reputable indonesian artist and producer in the music industry. Beside that, his works appears in advertising for some national companies and public projects.
