Biography
Mattéo Plassard is a young French composer born in 2001.
Fascinated by music and artistic creation since his very early age, he
studied the trumpet and the percussion as well as writing and composing
at the Music Conservatory in Lyon.
Very much under the influence of composers like Ravel, Bach, Berg or
Richter, he developped a particular interest for composing and in
particular for harmony.
In a simple and pure style, he works on repetition, parallelism and
harmonic spectrums. Drawn to small bands, he has composed numerous
pieces for duos, trios and quartets.
