Biography
DENIS ZARDI, pianist and composer, dividing his artistic activities between solo and chamber music, playing for the most important companies of concerts in Italy, Europe, United States and South America.
Regarding the piano he was a student of Mauro Minguzzi and he graduated with honors and honorable mention at the Conservatory “A. Boito” in Parma. He studied with Alfredo Speranza, Piernaciso Masi and later at the “Accademia pianistica Incontri col maestro” in Imola, under the guidance of Franco Scala. In 2003 he received his master's degree at the Rotterdam Conservatory in the class of Aquiles delle Vigne, graduating with honors.
He studied composition with Cesare Augusto Grandi and Adriano Guarnieri at the Conservatory “G. B. Martini” in Bologna. In 2020 he obtained a second level academic diploma in analytical composition at the Bologna Conservatory under the guidance of Paolo Aralla.
Among his compositions stand out the 24 preludes and three piano Sonatas, the Suite for piano four hands, the Trio for violin, cello and piano, “Baroccontemporaneo” for violin and harpsichord, trio “Scacciaspiriti” for violin, cello and piano, the Sextet for winds and piano.
He is one of the founders of the Instantanea Ensemble of Bologna which is passionately dedicated to the composition and performance of contemporary music.
He records for the ATOPOS of Arezzo and “Tactus” Bologna.
